The annual report has been prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards as adopted by the EU and Danish disclosure requirements for listed companies. It is our opinion that the consolidated financial statements and the parent company financial statements give a true and fair view of the Groupâs and the parent companyâs financial position at 31 December 2021 and of the results of the Groupâs and the parent companyâs operations and cash ï¬ows for the financial year 1 January - 31 December 2021. In our opinion, the managementâs review includes a fair review of the development in the parent companyâs and the Groupâs operations and financial conditions, the results for the year and the parent companyâs financial position, and the position as a whole for the entities included in the consolidated financial statements, as well as a description of the more significant risks and uncertainty factors that the parent company and the Group face. We recommend that the annual report be approved at the annual general meeting.</sob:StatementByExecutiveAndSupervisoryBoards>

These matters were addressed in the context of our audit of the consolidated financial statements and the parent financial statements as a whole, and in forming our opinion thereon, and we do not provide a separate opinion on these matters.Key audit matters Revenue recognition relating to cut-oî and provisions for quantum rebates and customer bonusesWe have considered revenue recognition relating to appropriate cut-oî including provisions for quantum rebates and customer bonuses as a key audit matter since revenue is the most material figure in the financial statements and because the audit of the risk involves extensive audit eîorts compared to the other risks we have identified. Revenue including quantum rebates and customer bonuses.amounted to DKK 3,020 million for the financial year 1 January to 31 December 2021. How the matter was addressed in our auditWe have addressed the key audit matter by performing the following:⢠We discussed with Management and evaluated internal controls and procedures for revenue recognition, including provisions for quantum rebates and customer bonuses.⢠We evaluated the appropriateness of the methodology and key assumptions applied to revenue recognition, including the provision for quantum rebates and customer bonuses.⢠We tested revenue recognition, including quantum rebates and customer bonuses on a sample basis for consistency with terms and conditions of the underlying sales contracts.⢠We tested revenue recognised around year-end and the provisions for quantum rebates and customer bonuses for appropriate timing of recognition as well as calculation of rebates and bonuses to underlying sales contracts.⢠We evaluated Managementâs ability to calculate the provisions for quantum rebates and customer bonuses accurately by considering the retrospective accuracy of the provisions in previous year.</arr:KeyAuditMattersAudit>

Reasonable assurance is a high level of assurance, but is not a guarantee that an audit conducted in accordance with ISAs and the additional requirements applicable in Denmark will always detect a material misstatement when it exists. Misstatements can arise from fraud or error and are considered material if, individually or in the aggregate, they could reasonably be expected to inï¬uence the economic decisions of users taken on the basis of these consolidated financial statements and these parent financial statements. As part of an audit conducted in accordance with ISAs and the additional requirements applicable in Denmark, we exercise professional judgement and maintain professional scepticism throughout the audit. We also: Identify and assess the risks of material misstatement of the consolidated financial statements and the parent financial statements, whether due to fraud or error, design and perform audit procedures responsive to those risks, and obtain audit evidence that is suîcient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinion. The risk ofnot detecting a material misstatement resulting from fraud is higher than for one resulting from error, as fraud may involve collusion, forgery, intentional omissions, misrepresentations, or the override of internal control.Obtain an understanding of internal control relevant to the audit in order to design audit procedures that are appropriate in the circumstances, but not for the purpose of expressing an opinion on the eîectiveness of the Groupâs and the Parentâs internal control. Evaluate the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of accounting estimates and related disclosures made by Management.Conclude on the appropriateness of Managementâs use of the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the consolidated financial statements and the parent financial statements, and, based on the audit evidence obtained, whether a material uncertainty exists related to events or conditions that may cast significant doubt on the Group's and the Parentâs ability to continue as a going concern. If we conclude that a materialuncertainty exists, we are required to draw attention in our auditorâs report to the related disclosures in the consolidated financial statements and the parent financial statements or, if such disclosures are inadequate, tomodify our opinion. Our conclusions are based on the audit evidence obtained up to the date of our auditorâsreport. However, future events or conditions may cause the Group and the Entity to cease to continue as agoing concern.Evaluate the overall presentation, structure and content of the consolidated financial statements and the parent financial statements, including the disclosures in the notes, and whether the consolidated financial statements and the parent financial statements represent the underlying transactions and events in a manner that gives a true and fair view.Obtain suîcient appropriate audit evidence regarding the financial information of the entities or business activities within the Group to express an opinion on the consolidated financial statements. We describe these matters in our auditorâs report unless law or regulation precludes public disclosure about the matter or when, in extremely rare circumstances, we determine that a matter should not be communicated in our report because the adverse consequences of doing so would reasonably be expected to outweigh the public interest benefits of such communication.</arr:StatementOfAuditorsResponsibilityForAuditAndAuditPerformed>
