Management of terminology resources — Terminology databases — Part 2: Software |
This document specifies essential features of terminology management systems, regardless of specific software engineering paradigms, user interface and user assistance design principles, and specific data models. These features enable maximum efficiency and quality in terminology work and, thus, support creating, processing, and using high quality terminology. The intended audiences of this document are software engineers/developers as well as terminologists, technical communicators, translators, interpreters, language planners, and subject field experts.
This document describes all features needed for recording, editing, maintaining, exchanging, and presenting terminological data. Term extraction features used to identify new terms are out of the scope of this document.

Management of terminology resources — Terminology databases — Part 3: Content |
This document specifies content-related aspects of terminology database maintenance. It gives guidance on the content of terminological data collections, with emphasis on data quality evaluation.
This document gives guidance for modellers of concept entries who need to ensure interoperability and high-quality content. It aims to ensure that terminological data collections themselves meet high standards for design conformity with standards such as ISO 12620-1 and ISO 16642, data accuracy and performance. It outlines principles for assuring data quality (see ISO 9001) and evaluating terminological data collections for purposes of continuous improvement. This approach contrasts that of ISO 23185:2009, which focuses on the usability of existing terminology resources.
This document does not apply to the management of text corpora or to term extraction tools.

Systems to manage terminology, knowledge and content — Design, implementation and maintenance of terminology management systems |
ISO 26162:2012 specifies criteria for designing, implementing and maintaining terminology management systems (TMS). It provides information about the rationale for using a TMS, types of users and users' needs, steps in designing and implementing a TMS as well as the tasks of organizing and managing a terminological data collection (TDC). It also provides guidelines for selecting and using data categories for managing terminology in various environments. It is intended for terminologists, software developers and others who are involved in the process of developing or acquiring a TMS.

Terminology policies — Development and implementation |
ISO 29383:2010 provides policy makers in governments, administration, non-profit and commercial organizations with guidelines and a methodology for the development and implementation of a comprehensive policy or strategy concerning the planning and management of terminology.
ISO 29383:2010 defines key concepts and describes scenarios and environments which may require different kinds of terminology policies. It also places terminology policies in the broader context of institutional strategic frameworks.

ISO 30042:2008 |
Systems to manage terminology, knowledge and content — TermBase eXchange (TBX) |
The TBX framework defined by ISO 30042:2008 is designed to support various types of processes involving terminological data, including analysis, descriptive representation, dissemination, and interchange (exchange), in various computer environments. The primary purpose of TBX is for interchange of terminological data. It is limited in its ability to represent presentational markup. Intended application areas include translation and authoring.
TBX is modular in order to support the varying types of terminological data, or data-categories, that are included in different terminological databases (termbases). TBX includes two modules: a core structure, and a formalism for identifying a set of data-categories and their constraints, both expressed in XML. The term TBX, when used alone, refers to the framework consisting of these two interacting modules.
To maximize interoperability of the actual terminological data, TBX also provides a default set of data-categories that are commonly used in terminological databases. However, subsets or supersets of the default set of data-categories can be used within the TBX framework to support specific user requirements.

Management of terminology resources — TermBase eXchange (TBX) |
This document explains fundamental concepts and describes the metamodel, data categories, and XML styles: DCA (Data Category as Attribute) and DCT (Data Category as Tag). It also specifies the methodology for defining TBX dialects.
The audience for this document is anyone wishing to create a new dialect compliant with TBX. This document can also be used to analyze and to understand a terminological data collection or to design a new terminology database that complies with international standards and best practices. Typical users are programmers, software developers, terminologists, analysts, and other language professionals. Intended application areas include translation and authoring.
The TBX-Core dialect is described in detail in this document. All other industry-supported dialects are out of the scope of this document.
NOTE TBX dialects are defined by industry stakeholders. Any materials needed to implement currently shared dialects are publicly available as self-contained industry specifications (see for instance the TBX Info website[15]).

Flight dynamics — Concepts, quantities and symbols — Part 3: Derivatives of forces, moments and their coefficients |
Deals with derivatives of forces, moments and of other quantities characterizing such forces and moments. The term "derivative" designates the partial derivative of a function with respect to an independent variable. These derivatives appear in the terms of the Taylor series representing the variations of functions with the independent variables. Is restricted to first-order terms. Terms of higher order would require additional definitions of higher order. The aircraft is assumed to be rigid. However, most of the definitions can be applied to the case of a flexible aircraft.

Flight dynamics — Concepts, quantities and symbols — Part 8: Concepts and quantities used in the study of the dynamic behaviour of the aircraft |
The aircraft is assumed to be rigid, of constant mass and of constant inertia. It is not equipped with systems modifying its natural dynamic behaviour. However, most of the definitions can be applied to the case of a flexible aircraft, of variable mass and of variable inertia. The general concepts defined are applicable to the atmospheric flight phase.

Flight dynamics — Concepts, quantities and symbols — Part 9: Models of atmospheric motions along the trajectory of the aircraft |
Deals with the concepts and quantities characterizing models of the air motions affecting the dynamic behaviour of the aircraft. The motion of the air with respect to the Earth is defined by the wind velocity in each point of the aircraft trajectory. In flight dynamic problems, it is usual to use mathematical models of the wind velocity field and its variation with time. The following models are defined: constant wind, wind gradients, discrete gusts, three-dimensional wind models, vortices. Other models can be defined by superposition of these models.

Basic quantities in cutting and grinding — Part 5: Basic terminology for grinding processes using grinding wheels |
The aim of this part of ISO 3002 is to apply the basic teminology defined in the parts 1 to 4 specifically to grinding operations. The meaning of the word grinding is considered in a limited sense as a material removal operation in which the tool is a grinding wheel. The primary motion is the rotation of the grinding wheel. A feed motion is applied to the tool or workpiece to obtain a continuation of the removal of workpiece material in the form of small chips by the action of individual cutting edges. It may consists of several components.
