This document provides ergonomics data for standard developers to use in applying ISO/IEC Guide 71:2014 to address accessibility in standards. These data can also be used by ergonomists and designers to support the development of more accessible products, systems, services, environments, and facilities.
The ergonomics data include quantitative data and knowledge about basic human characteristics and capabilities as well as context-specific and task-specific data, all being based on ergonomics research. The data focused on the effects of ageing and/or consequences of various types of human sensory, physical, and cognitive disabilities. It does not contain general ergonomics data that have no direct relation to ageing or disabilities.
The data presented in this document are not exhaustive due to no available data for some aspects of human characteristics and capabilities with regard to ageing and disabilities.

It specifies an architecture-independent method for the persistent storage and retrieval of data. ASAM ODS provides:
a common data model (base model) for the unambiguous and complete storage of data;interfaces (Application Programmer's Interfaces, APIs) to access data of ASAM-compatible systems and tools in a standardized way;a database model for the (wide-spread) relational databases;a standardized, easy to use, text-based exchange format (ASAM Transport Format, ATF) in order to exchange ASAM ODS data (including its meta-information) between different systems and different platforms;a set of application models that reflect typical scenarios for the use of ASAM ODS and that easily allows a mapping between data originating from different companies.

ISO/IEC 9541-2:2012 specifies the interchange formats for font information, and the minimum subsets of that information required for interchange. ISO/IEC 9541-2:2012 requires the property definitions as defined in ISO/IEC 9541-1.
Font subsets defined by ISO/IEC 9541-2:2012 establish the minimum set of font properties that must occur within an ISO font resource. To accommodate the broad range of document and text processing functions found in office and publishing environments, it is anticipated that ISO font resources will contain more than the minimum number of font properties.
Font resources defined by ISO/IEC 9541-2:2012 are used in various document processing environments in which the RELAX NG Compact Syntax schema (ISO/IEC 19757-2) parsing algorithm is recognized. ISO 10160:2015 is an Application Layer standard within the Open Systems Interconnection framework defined by ISO 7498.
ISO 10160:2015 defines the services for Interlibrary Loan. These services are provided by the use of the ILL protocol in conjunction with the supporting telecommunications service which might be a store-and-forward messaging service, such as that provided by the MOTIS Standard, ISO/IEC 10021‑4; or a direct connection-mode service using ISO 8822 and ISO 8649.
ISO 10160:2015 does not specify individual implementations or products, nor does it constrain the implementation of entities and interfaces within a computer system. Computer systems might range from stand-alone workstations to mainframes.
ISO 10160:2015 is intended for use by libraries, information utilities such as union catalogue centres, and any other system which processes bibliographic information. These systems might participate in an interlibrary loan transaction in the role of requester (i.e. an initiator of ILL requests), responder (i.e. a provider of bibliographic material or information) and/or intermediary (i.e. an agent that acts on behalf of a requester to find suitable responders).
Various interworking topologies are supported, ranging from simple two-party interactions to multi-party interactions.
There is no requirement for conformance to this International Standard. Conformance is required only for the ILL protocol specification.

ISO 10161:2014 defines the protocol for an ILL application-service-element (ASE). It specifies the behaviour which must be exhibited by a system in order to take part in the provision of the ISO interlibrary loan service.
It provides a formal statement of the rules of behaviour of each of the two or more entities participating in an ILL transaction. It specifies
a) the actions to be taken on receiving request service primitives issued by an ILL service-user,
b) the actions to be taken on receiving application-protocol-data-units (APDUs), and
c) the actions to be taken as a result of events within the local system.
It provides a specification (in Clause 9) of the abstract syntax required to convey the ILL Protocol APDUs.
It states the conformance requirements to be met by implementors of this protocol (in Clause 10).

This International Standard defines a language and underlying model for the representation of “hyperdocuments” that link and synchronize static and dynamic (time-based) information contained in multiple conventional and multimedia documents and information objects. The language is known as the “Hypermedimime-based Structuring Language”, or “HyTime”.
HyTime can represent time in both the abstract, or “musical” sense, and in user-defined real-time units. It also provides a way of relating the two so that elements of time-dependent documents can be synchronized.
NOTE 7 This facility extends to the representation of multimedia information the power, once limited to conventional documents, to distinguish intrinsic information content from style considerations.
HyTime’s techniques for representing its time model are equally applicable to spatial and other domains; all are treated as systems for measuring along different axes of a coordinate space. Arbitrary cross-references and access paths based on external interactions (“hypermedia links”) are also supported.
HyTime’s time representation contains sufficient information to derive the durations of both control (“gestural”) data (e.g., control information for audio or video hardware) and visual data (e.g., a music score, presentation storyboard, or television script).
The media formats and data notations of objects in a HyTime hyperdocument can include formatted and unformatted documents, audio and video segments, still images, and object-oriented graphics, among others. Users can specify the positions and sizes of occurrences of objects in space and time, using a variety of measurement units and granularities Temporal requirements of applications ranging from animation to project management can be supported by choosing appropriate measurement granules.
NOTE 8 This International Standard does not address the representation of audio or video content data, but simply defines the means by which the start-time and duration of such data can be synchronized with other digitized information. Nor does it specify the layout process by which occurrences of unformatted documents and other information objects can be made to fit the positions and sizes specified for them.
HyTime is an enabling standard, not an encompassing one. AS a result, the objects comprising a HyTime hyperdocument are free to conform to any application architectures, or to document architectures imposed by standards, and to be represented in any notation permitted by those architectures Only the “hub document”, which may determine the hyperdocument membership, must conform PO HyTime in addition to any other architectures to which it may conform.
HyTime is designed for flexibility and extensibility. Optional subsets can be implemented, alone or in conjunction with user-defined extensions.
The Hypermedia/Time-based Structuring Language (HyTime) is an SGML application conforming to International Standard IS0 8879 - Standard Generalized Markup Language.
The hyperdocument interchange format recommended in this International Standard is IS0 9069, the SGML Document Interchange Format (SDIF). SDIF is defined in Abstract Syntax Notation 1 (ISO/IEC 8824) and can be encoded according to the basic encoding rules of ISOAEC 8825 for interchange using protocols conforming to the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model. Other interchange formats can also be used.
